Year round, my favorite color palette is one of deep jewel tones. Yash’s fall inspired newborn photography session made my heart swell with delight. He was absolutely stunning in each of the colors that I put him in. My current fave is this new “peacock teal” that I recently got in. Oh it’s so dreamy! I don’t know if my selection of colors for sessions is inspired by my own closet or vice versa. Maybe it’s just who I am at my core.. a warm, deep and moody soul. LOL!

Sweet little Yash had zero intention of sleeping for his gorgeous fall inspired newborn photography session that I meticulously planned out but it was totally OK.  Seriously, the ones where it looks like he’s sleeping are just moments where he blinked. Hahaha!  He was a dream even with his eyes wide open. The little man didn’t fuss. He didn’t even wiggle. Yash just studied me. His session was short and sweet and we were wrapped up in 30 minutes.

His parents chose to do the Potato Sack Workflow option of our Build Your Own Newborn Session. Even though he would be wrapped up the entire time, I wanted to make sure that they received a good variety of images. The images on the teal color were done on my newborn beanbag, the orange wraps in a prop (obviously) and the mustard set up was with a flokati. Though this option only comes with 8 images, they are some of my absolute favorites!
