I'm a Jesus loving, song singing Mama, wife and photographer. There is a constant struggle in me to hold onto all the yesterdays while deeply longing to jumpstart the next adventure. Whoever said "the days are long but the years are short" is a freaking genius. As my children grow older, the truth in those words becomes haunting. I look at my children and want to turn back the hands of time while still fully enjoying the people they are becoming and the life we are living today. I strive to be present while holding onto nostalgia. I want to remember all the stories. And I want to help you do the same.
I can and will travel to mountains and beaches, deserts and farms to soak in all the beauty that this world and your story holds. Whether it be in the walls of your home, my studio or God's wonderful creation... come with me... let's go find the place that speaks to your heart. Jen Jacobowitz Photography is based out of Richmond, VA but wanderlust will carry me anywhere you want to go. I long to capture authentic moments through soulful imagery whether they be of love or healing. Whatever season of life you are in is the want I want to document. That place where love connects the broken pieces of the past and shows up in the intimate transparency of self, family or new life is where I will meet you.
Every session I engage in is designed to be an experience. One where you show me all the colors of your beautiful heart and I create the art for you. Cold hands. Racing hearts. A breath held a second longer than usual.
Winter has a way of stripping everything down to what’s real, and in that stillness, love showed up fully. No crowd. No noise. Just two people, a question asked with everything behind it, and a yes that warmed the entire moment.
