If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed that the way in which I capture and document your most precious moments has shifted over the years.  My heart’s desire has led me to go beyond the poses and seek more intimate storytelling moments with my clients.  Case in point, the intimate maternity session below.  This is not to say that I don’t love a traditional maternity session anymore, I do.  But those, too, are done in a storytelling manner.  At the end of the day, when you are looking back and reflecting on this once in a lifetime moment, I want you to remember the connection you had… with yourself, this particular life growing inside of you and with your partner if they are a part of the session.

Rewind…

Let’s back up for a minute.  Emily and Matt didn’t just show up at my studio and start romping and rolling around on the blankets.  Though, I think they would have been down for it if that is what I had told them to do.  They were so comfortable with themselves and each other.  I suppose that is part of being competitive body builders.  In fairness to all clients, however, I help guide and ease you into a relaxed state where the intimacy shines through with minimal effort.   After all, this IS your love story.  An intimate maternity session will look different for each person, each couple.  They start out however you feel comfortable and they progress that way as well.
