A Pink & Red Newborn Session
Several newborn parents have recently driven from the Fredericksburg area to my studio in Richmond, VA for a photography session. It has been surprising to see the amount of people that will take that drive for their newborn portraits. It also makes my heart sing. Thank you to each and every one of my clients for trusting me with your sweet, precious, delicate baby. Everyone knows that I have the best job in the world… but it’s all because of you and your babies. Keep them coming!
Sofia is one of the many who’s mom contacted me and drove down from Spotslyvania. Sofia was already two weeks old when her mom inquired with me but I was more than happy to fit them in. If ever you are in doubt, just reach out. I will always do my best to make sure your newborn’s precious details are preserved in photographic documentation. Sofia was hesitant at first to let me unwrap her and pose her on the bean bag so I started with some wrapped shots. Even after getting into a deep sleep she still wasn’t interested in being undressed and posed. With one more feeding in her little belly we decided to give it one more try. I am so glad we did. Some of the last pictures were my absolute favorites.
Sofia’s parents are now putting a gorgeous 16×20 mounted image of her froggy pose on their walls and have 5 digital images to do whatever they would like with.
