I jumped into the school year with both feet and have barely had a second to look back.  There was so much that we did this summer and I have been wanting to share a bit of it with you.  With that being said, I invite you to take a trip (not too far) down memory lane with me.

I’ll start with our trip to beach, Corolla NC., and work backwards.  This isn’t a long winded post about everything that we did for the entire week that we were there but, rather, a photographic summary of some of my favorite moments.

We had GORGEOUS weather everyday which meant the boys spent a lot of time boogy boarding, jumping waves, and playing in the sand!

Mr. Krazy wasn’t as much of a water-goer as his brother so he spent a lot of time in the sand and chasing the seguls.

There was only one day where the water was just too rough to have any fun in and the wind used the sand to beat you.  We used that day to drive down to the end of the beach where it is 4-Wheel Drive only and take our chances on finding the wild horses.

Jackpot!

We also managed to do a little crabbing, a little biking, eating of some ice cream…. but I would say the highlight of our trip was the hang gliding!…

The house we stayed in was quite cute, perfectly sized for our family (our 4 + my mom and sister), and came with amenities galore!  If you plan on staying in Corolla, NC and aren’t looking for a ridiculously huge house but would like all the perks of one I encourage you to check out Village Reality and look up houses on Currituck Cay.
