It's hard to soak it all up in the minute. But that is why I am here, sweet friend... to give you tangible memories of days gone by. Newborn sessions are best done 7-14 days after birth but every situation is different so don't hesitate to reach out if you missed that mark.

On one hand it makes life a lot easier. I feel like I run out of things to say. On the other hand, it doesn’t feel authentic and that’s something I run my business on.
I feel like I can spot them right away. But what do you say when you’ve been doing the same thing for 12 years?
I have the best job in the world, hands down!But how many more ways can I express that? Can’t the adorable pictures do the talking? After all, they’re worth a thousand words, right?

I’m not going to lie, I was a little taken aback when I had to come up with a plan B on the fly b/c this beautiful girl’s dresses weren’t going to work in my usual set up with my go-to poses. However, with some quick thinking and quick shuffling of EVERYTHING in the studio, we pulled off a stunning session!
I always encouraged potential clients to visit my website and IG to get a good idea of what their session will look like. I welcome inspirational pictures if they have a specific idea in mind. I do these things because I know I may not be the best fit for everyone. And I’m ok with that! I want you to have the pictures that YOU dream of and I’m not shy to tell you if I don’t think I’m the right photographer for the vision.
Even still, I sometimes get surprised when sessions are already booked and clients show up with inspirational images that are nothing like what I do. This was one of those times. I wasn’t about to let her walk away disappointed though. And to be honest, I’m glad I rose to the challenge. I love the way her session turned out!

1. Skateboard/Roller skating Session: family with young children
2. Vintage Car Session (you must have the car): Family with young children (at least one in diapers) OR one Couple
3. Local Doughnut Shop: Family with 2 kids (ages 6-12)
4. Summer Farm Session: Family with young kids who live on a farm
5. Pickleball OR Tennis Session: One Couple OR a Family with 2 kids
6. Vintage Camper/ Camper Van Session (must own camper): 1 Couple ~ would possibly consider one family with a baby.
7. Retro Pool Session (must have pool): 1 young couple OR Group of teenage girls.
