My Seniors have absolutely ROCKED their sessions this year. So far I’ve had all girls… and they’ve got sass a plenty! I loved working with Brianna. We had a great time together with her mom and her best friend as we walked around Libby Hill. We found lots of interesting little nooks and crannies to style and pose Brianna in and the results are simply gorgeous. We actually started off in the studio with some formal shots (which are at the end of this post) and then ventured out downtown. After we made our way around Libby Hill we hopped in the car and drove down to Belle Isle. Brianna has been a swimmer nearly all of her life so it was only fitting that we get some pictures down by the river.
I love photographing Seniors! They know what they want, they have their own style, opinions, and ideas. I love knowing that I am capturing the “last” of something. Most of these Seniors are going off to college or starting in the work field and life as they know it right this minute is about to change drastically. I get to help preserve that last little bit of their childhood/adolescence, I suppose. I get to freeze a moment in time for the parents while giving the “kids” something to cherish and share with friends. It’s a very special time!
