Snowy Photography Session

Any one miss the snow? While it may be a nuisance to some, it does make for pretty pictures. This snowy photography session features high school seniors and twins, Kacie and Kellie. These ladies specifically wanted a snowy scene for their senior pictures so we waited for the perfect snow day for their session. You can see the special bond these girls have and their love for snow displayed in this session. Not only are they sisters, they are best friends!

It was THE coldest day and a snow/ice storm was predicted to come our way the next day but, as you can see, the love warmed this room right up!

As I was editing my most recent newborn photoshoot today, I was presented with a fb memory of the very first newborn I ever photographed.

I had no clue what I was doing 13 years ago. I just knew I wanted to photograph babies. My neighbor was willing to be my guinea pig. At the time, I was happy with how they turned out. However, it was hard and I quickly realized I needed help. I tried my hand at it a few more times before biting the bullet and attending a newborn workshop.

My work has evolved and changed quite a bit over the last several years. In fact, I rarely do traditional “beanbag/blanket” poses anymore but every now and then I will incorporate them.

It’s so fun to see the comparison of how my work looked when I first started vs how it looks today!
