Getting to play (aka work) with newborns here in my studio in Richmond, VA is an absolute dream.  From newborns to sitters, cake smashes to Seniors and everything in between… I enjoy every second of it.  However, nothing compares to that precious, fragile, dependent bundle of life that comes to me just a week or two after their entrance into the world.  I enjoy the snuggles and melt at the chance to simply hold and admire them.  For this soon-to-be forty year old, they are my “fix”.  My own children are now in middle school and I sometimes long for a baby in the house.  My career provides me with just that.  I am so incredibly lucky for God’s gift of this talent.

Lake has a very special Aunt, and Susan a very special sister.  Long before Lake was ready to enter the world Susan’s sister contacted me and wanted to purchase a gift certificate to present to her sister for a Newborn Session.  Once little Mr. Lake made his debut we scheduled his session date.  He was a perfect angel and Susan and Roland absolutely loved the art work that was produced that day.  They now have a lovely canvas and various prints to enjoy throughout their home.
