Pink and Gray Newborn Girl Photography Session
Dark colors are often reserved for newborn boys but I love to use them for baby girls as well. When Blake visited the Jen Jacobowitz Photography studio in the Short Pump area of Richmond, VA it was already set up for her. It was all set for a pink and gray newborn girl photography session. Blake looked lovely in the chosen colors. Her gorgeous skin tone popped against both the dark and light colors. The contrast on each was beautiful!
Sleep Like A Baby
I have never really cared for the term “sleep (or slept) like a baby.” Because of my experience with my own children, I came to the conclusion that babies don’t sleep well. That seemed to be very much the case in the JJP studio for 2017 and the first half of 2018 as well. Then a wave of grace hit the studio and I was blessed with lots of lovely sleeping babies. Babies who didn’t care how I posed them. Blake was one of those angels. Even as I type I debate whether I should even be speaking these words. I do pray that I do not jinx any of this.
