I didn’t start out as a lifestyle newborn photographer.  In fact, for years the idea scared me.  However, over my seven year span of being a professional photographer, I have certainly evolved and grown.  With that growth, my style has changed.  I offer plenty of traditional newborn posing.  You will see that in the images below.  However, the family portion, my favorite part, of the sessions has changed.  As I’ve grown into a lifestyle newborn photographer, I’ve done away with my paper backdrops and, instead, use the homey vibe of the studio to play as the backdrop.  My clients seem so much more relaxed this way which produces gorgeous, heartfelt images.  Everyone who walks in the studio immediately falls in love with the decor, tones and vibe.

I’ve had the honor of capturing so many amazing milestones in this gorgeous families life, from their first pregnancy to the arrival of their second baby boy! I’m so grateful to be walking along side them as their family grows!  I love seeing them for their yearly pictures and milestones.

When mom reached out for her second maternity session, I could’t wait to use the newly remodeled studio as the backdrop to her session.  I knew she would want those earthy warm tones which is perfect because those are such a big part of my brand. I so glad she is always willing to trust my vision.  These lifestyle image just pull at my heart strings!   Rhyse’s newborn session was perfect! Everything about this little angle was perfection.  He slept so well for me during his session.  I love the cohesiveness we were able to capture throughout the different parts of the session.  The way his sweet big brother loved on him made my heart melt.
