I have been wanting to test the waters of pet photography for  a while now.  My plan was to try it out with my best friend’s dog since she is, hands down, THE BEST DOG EVER!  Long story short goes like this… I never got around to it.  A couple of weeks ago by cousin contacted me and asked if I did this very thing.  I told him I had not but I was up to giving it a try!

Keep in mind, while I will do stylized shoots (and LOVE them) I still am not your JC Penney’s type of photography…. and, to me, that’s a good thing.  So what you will find below is not a flash studio set up with solid color backdrops.  What you will find below is pet photography done true to my style… relaxed, fun, intimate.

Setting up for a newborn session at warp speed. This typically takes me at least 30 minutes or more to design unique sets for each session and then another good amount of time tweaking it to be just right.
