Do you remember sweet baby Morgan who’s Cake Smash I shared with you a month or so ago?  Well I got to meet up with her again and this time she brought her entire family.  Mom, Dad, CJ, Cam, and Morgan all met me at Maymont in hopes of getting some great fall foliage as a backdrop.  Was I ever pleased and impressed!  I had suggested shooting in the Japanese Garden since I remembered it having plenty of trees and the waterfall.  Since Brooke (mom) had requested nature, flowers, and water I thought this would be a great spot.  Sadly, the waterfall had been turned off for the season but the rest of the landscaping just did not disappoint.  I will be honest, I’ve never shot Maymont for clients…. only capturing my kids playing there in the summer.  I’ve always wanted to do a session that involved the Italian Garden with the gorgeous pergola but felt that I had seen it done so many times that I wanted to offer my clients something different.  Well, since they are from Texas, this was different for them…. and now, for me as well.

We had a gorgeous afternoon and I had an absolute blast getting to know Chris (dad) and the two boys.  The family as a whole are such a delight and the kids are so polite!  I love them!
