Baseball Mini Session

The Baseball Mini Session option featured this summer was a huge hit at Jen Jacobowitz Photography. Summer is filled with so many fun things and playing baseball with friends is at the top of the list for many kiddos. I would like to try to do a fun new theme each summer so I would love to hear your suggestions. Stylized baseball sessions, however, can be still arranged when scheduling a full session. Who remembers watching the Sandlot movie? I loved my summers as a kid and dirty knees, baseball and local water holes were a major part of those summers. A vintage vibe was definitely on my mind this summer. I guess I just wish things could be the way they were. A time before video games and smart phones seems like a dream. Summers used to be spent outdoors… all day. Maybe yours still are. For my children though, it’s almost like a punishment. Believe it or not, I have a kid who HATES the beach. Yes, you read that right. Where did I go wrong? I do appreciate that there are kiddos who will get out there for the love of the game (or at least the love of their parents) and have fun with these stylized mini sessions.

First day of fall. Finally. 🍂
This is the time of year when I really start looking forward to family sessions. Give me tall grass, good light, kids who don’t want to sit still, and a family that is willing to just go with it.

I’m not interested in making your kids behave for photos. I want the real stuff — the running, the laughing, the weird little things they do, and the moments in between.

My Fall Sessions are coming up October 24 & 25 in Powhatan, VA.

And some are just about two people who are very clearly still very much in love before they become three. I want to always photograph THAT!
