If I had to choose only one field of specialty…. absolutely HAD to choose… I think I would have to pick newborn photography!  I love all of the families that I get to photograph very much.  I am so thrilled to leave my family sessions being able to call many of them new friends.  I love being able to watch their families grow up right before my eyes as they schedule follow up sessions with me throughout the year.  I love the Cake Smashes and the cute toddlers that I get to photograph…. but these itty bitty squishy little babies!!!  Oh!!!!  I love them so!  I absolutely LOVE to be able to pose them and hold them and love on them.  I love the unexpected smiles that occasionally sneak across their face.  I love the hats and props and blankets.  I love that I am EXHAUSTED after a newborn shoot and no one can fault me for my impending three hour nap that day!  I love their smell.  I love the little white bumps on their noses.  Oh…. I just LOVE these babies!

Meet Jacob!  Jacob was born on December 4th and I was able to get my hands on him when he was just 5 days old.  He is the newest and littlest one I’ve done yet.  He was such a good boy, so easy to work with.  Like most babies it took awhile to get him back to sleep when he woke up for a feeding but overall he was just as easy as could be.  I really enjoyed being able to spend time with his mom and dad, Jessica and Daniel.  I hope I will be able to photograph this little cutie as he grows up.  I’m sure he will do BIG things!  :)
