Baby Boy Photography Session

A Sweet Baby Boy Photography Session

The sweetest baby boy photography session took place in my Short Pump studio when Lindsey brought her son Kelvin in.  Even as a newborn, he had a head full of beautiful curly hair.  He was as sweet as could be and barely made a noise the entire time he was here.  There were even sweet little smiles.  Lindsey’s favorite picture ended up being the “froggy” pose.  Who can blame her?  That is always a parent favorite.  Please note that the Froggy pose is a composite.  This means that I generally take several pictures in this pose while holding different parts of the baby.  It is very important that baby is always safe and many times this requires editing out the hands that hold them.  That is just the case with Froggy pose.

For the Love of Neutral

I loved using the neutral colors for this little boy photography session.  He looked so dreamy in the tans, ivory and grays.  I like to add a little pop of color to each session so I opted for some various blues with Kelvin.  As much as I love precious little newborn hats I couldn’t get over this gorgeous head of hair.  I had to make sure I got just as many pictures without the cute hats as I did with them on.

Below are just a few of my favorite pictures from Kelvin’s newborn photography session.  With a full session I typically provide 25-30 images… sometimes up to 40 for the parents to choose from.  You have the option of choosing as many of as few as you would like.  There are custom Print Collections as well as Digital Packages to suit everyone.
