It’s the MOST wonderful time of the year….! I love, love, love Christmas. It is, by far, my favorite holiday. I love the colors, the lights, the fireplace, frosted noses warming up with hot chocolate…. but most importantly, I love embracing what it is really all about, Jesus’ birthday! My kiddos tend to get wrapped up in what is to come out of the wrapping paper. Sadly, that’s not just a December thing. As a mother I am constantly trying to remind them that we are not entitled to anything and that they should be humble and grateful at all times. Nothing drives this home more than the story of God giving his son to the world knowing exactly what would happen. How can we not be grateful?
On that note, let me take a moment to tell you how incredibly grateful I am to all of the families that have trusted me with their memories this year. Portraits are an investment for sure, and it can be nerve racking waiting to find out what your photo shoot ends up looking like. I have had many repeat clients over the last couple years and I am incredibly thankful for each and every one of them. To all of those that I just met this year, thank you for trusting me. Thank you for the chance to be a part of your family’s history.
